#16toddleractivitiesfor16days for today is Jello Treasure hunt.
This activity might require you to prep earlier, it took us only an hour in fridge since we have the quick freeze option but a regular fridge might some more time to set the jelly.
You'll need :
* some clear gelatin powder or totally go ahead an pop in a packet of ready made jelly mix.
* some small toys to add to the jello.
* essence (optional).
* food coloring (optional).
Prepare the jello according to the instructions on the packet. If you want to add food coloring, make sure you mix it in the water and then add. We added it to the mixture directly and it was a fail. We added in some rose essence for those olfactory senses.
Pour the jello into a big tub or bowl. Before setting the jelly, add your small toys.
(how to video is up on igtv) .
This activity is a sensory overload.
It's cold, it's slimy, it's a different texture and you can encourage your kids to get messy and pick out those toys.
The fun can get messy so you might want a mat underneath and they will be at it for a good hour!
The jelly isn't that soft, so it'll have them digging for a while.
What a win!!!.
Try it and tag us in your pictures ❤️.
