Today, I miss playing dress-up for my job. As I was tracing my reason for being back to the first spark, on the creative entrepreneurial journey I’m currently undertaking, I realize that it all started when I saw Barbra Streisand in Hello, Dolly! I was struck by her power, her poise, her self-ownership, her piercing energy. I felt like she resonated through the screen and straight into my 14-year-old heart. She lit a fire there that has transformed into so many passions and career pursuits for me, but has never died. 🔥 This time is bringing me so much gratitude for the work that I love and I miss. This photo is from the set of the film Hell Hath No Fury, circa 2016 when I first moved to NYC. 💜 What will you be most grateful to return to someday?
